IOSH Managing Safely Training

The IOSH Managing Safely course is designed to equip managers and supervisors with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively manage health and safety within their workplace. It’s an internationally recognized qualification that focuses on practical application rather than just theory.

IOSH Managing Safely covers various aspects of health and safety management, including risk assessment, accident investigation, hazard identification, and legal responsibilities. Participants will learn how to implement and monitor safety measures, communicate effectively about health and safety issues, and promote a positive safety culture within their organization.

This course typically includes interactive sessions, case studies, and practical exercises to enhance learning and understanding. It provides a comprehensive overview of health and safety management systems and best practices, tailored to the needs of managers and supervisors across different industries.

NB:

When filling the online application form; please take note of your desired Training Month, Duration in Weeks and Training Session. This will give us the exact dates you will be attending your classes.

Also note that Tuition Fees must be paid upfront on or before training start date. This is to ensure that all resources are made availabe for you before you start. You will not be allowed into training if fees are not paid and verified.

Also note that Tuition Fees Cancellations must be made 14 business working days before the starting date of training. This will allow us to do a 50% refund of the total amount paid. If cancellations are made thereafter note that no refund will be made to delegates.

Tuition Fees include teas and lunch as well as either a laptop or tablet which a delegate will take home free of charge.

Tuition Fee DOES NOT include Accommodation, Dinners and other Extra Curricular Activities or Incidentals. Delegates are expected to fund this on their own. AATICD will not be held accountable for any incidents to delegates.

In-House Trainings are also available for 3 or more delegates for any duration. Please consult with our Administration for such In-House training bookings.

    • Recognizing the importance of effective communication in ensuring health and safety compliance.
  5. Understanding Hazards:
    • Identifying common workplace hazards, such as fire, electricity, and manual handling.
    • Implementing measures to control specific hazards.
  6. Investigating Incidents:
    • Understanding the importance of investigating incidents and near misses.
    • Implementing effective incident investigation procedures.
  7. Measuring Performance:
    • Monitoring and measuring health and safety performance.
    • Implementing corrective actions to address performance issues.
  8. Protecting Our Environment:
    • Understanding the environmental impact of workplace activities.
    • Implementing measures to minimize environmental impact.
