Travelling internationally for an AATICD programme? On registration, every delegate is automatically issued an official Letter of Invitation to attend training on our campus — wherever in the world that campus may be — to support a smooth visa application at the relevant embassy or consulate.
The Letter of Invitation is a standard supporting document for visa applications. It confirms your identity, the purpose of your visit, the dates of training, the host institution, and where you will be attending. Embassies and consulates use it alongside your passport, financial proof and accommodation booking to assess short-stay visa applications for training and conferences.
AATICD has been issuing these letters for international delegates for years. They are written on letterhead, signed by an authorised representative, and carry the institute's registration details (CIPC No. 2017/337061/07) so the receiving consulate can verify the institution at a glance.
Each letter is generated from your registration details, so it carries everything an embassy needs to see in one document.
Full legal name, passport number, nationality, and employer organisation as captured during registration.
Course title, learning outcomes, and a clear statement that the visit is for short-term professional training.
Exact start and end dates of the programme, including arrival and departure recommendations to cover the visit.
The full address of the training venue and the host city — Pretoria, Cape Town, Nairobi, Dubai, London, etc.
Institute registration number, head-office address, and signatory contact details so the embassy can verify.
Confirmation of who is sponsoring the training (the delegate, the employer, or a third-party), as required by some embassies.
You don't need to email us, fill in a separate form, or request the letter manually. The whole process is automated — we just need the right details captured at registration.
Pick your course, training city and dates, and complete the booking. Use the exact name and passport number that appear on your travel document.
Once payment is confirmed, our system automatically generates a personalised PDF Letter of Invitation and emails it to you.
Print the letter and submit it alongside your passport and supporting documents at the embassy or consulate of the host country.
If your embassy requires an original signed and stamped hard copy, write to our office and we'll courier one to you.
Embassies typically require a small bundle of documents alongside the AATICD invitation letter. Exact requirements vary — always check the website of the embassy or consulate you're applying to.
Apply for your visa as early as possible — short-stay visas are usually processed in 5 to 15 working days, but processing times spike in peak travel seasons. We recommend starting the application at least 4 weeks before your training start date.
Make sure the name on your AATICD registration matches the spelling on your passport exactly. If you spot a difference, get in touch before payment so we can correct it on the invitation letter — embassies routinely reject applications where the supporting letter doesn't match the passport.
